Likkle exhibition of jewels and craft

Likkle exhibition of jewels made in Jamaica by The Girl and the Magpie. The exhibition includes beautiful craft from Burkina Faso – fabrics, jewels, clothing – that have been sourced from several organisations according to the principles of fair trade. Opening hours are between 2–8 pm on 11 and 12 May in the FoAM studio, and also by appointment.

The 'Girl' studied goldsmithing in Brussels and cire perdue, the lost-wax casting technique, in Burkina Faso, Africa. Recently she has been living and working in Jamaica, while continuing to make frequent visits to Burkina. On her way between these two beloved countries she's found a moment to stop along the canal at FoAM for a few days for this exhibition.
